2(a-x) = a-x ; this is true of all a = x
But you can’t divide both sides by (a-x) because
a = x
a – x = x – x
a – x = 0
And you can’t divide by zero in algebra.
Thus 2(a-x) = a-x !== 2 = 1 so basically the Troll wrote 2 = 1 without being able to prove it.
Because he’s dumb.
